Edinburgh Comic Art Festival

2nd December 2017 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

ECAF will be hosting over forty creators from across the UK at Out of the Blue Drill Hall.

Help maintain Edinburgh’s reputation as the world’s leading literary City by showing your support and coming along to pick up a new book to read. ECAF is a great first time event for anyone new to comic books and a familiar setting if you’re an old hand.

Talks and workshops include:

Rachael Stott talks about her first project with IDW, pencilling and inking the Star Trek crossovers and her mountain of work on Dr Who, including the Twelfth, Tenth and Ninth Doctors and her stepping into indie comics with Sex Criminals.

Colin Maxwell will do a demonstration of a digital workflow for the creation of comic book art and page layouts. Using the latest mobile apps, he will explain his choice of digital tools and his process of moving from traditional illustration techniques to digital.

The whole festival is free to attend but each talk and workshop is ticketed.
