28th October 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
As part of Lo & Vee’s residency at Chirpy, they will be running 4 workshops where the work created will form part of their final installation upstairs.
Workshop 4 : Drawing for projection
Taking inspiration from still life, poetry and popular culture, create drawings to be projected onto Lo & Vee’s completed installation. These could be based on the animals that live there, spirits floating through or even a representation of the elements that sweep through an autumn forest.
This workshop is suitable for all ages, however children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult (who must also purchase a ticket)
You can do this workshop as a one off or sign up for all or some of the 4 workshops Lo & Vee are running.
Lo & Vee are the Leeds based illustrators Lo Whitehead and Vee Hartley. Both run their own independent practices and have come together to create large-scale murals and printed works. Their collaborative work not only reflects their appreciation of nature, dream worlds and pattern, but also their bizarre ability to blend the familiar and unfamiliar.
