I love that I screen printed the acrylic cover, there were literally people at the show who were afraid to open the book because it had a no-open printed on the cover haha!

Thank you WIA for giving me the exposure to work with more interesting projects in the future! My undergraduate background in advertising makes me enthusiastic about every new project!

Usually at home with my ipad, but sometimes when I'm stuck I'll go to the park or bookstore for inspiration!

It took about five months from research to completion.
What is your dream commission?
Collaborate with apple; illustrate botanical gardens; be invited by editorial projects to draw comics or covers; or work together to explore more new forms of illustration.
What’s your favourite thing to draw?
Plants and people in the underground and themes about childhood and memory.
What is your best tip for other illustrators?
Don't just be satisfied with good-looking images, but think about more interesting and innovative explorations in terms of content or form.

I hope to create more comics this year, try more different designs, and I really hope I can get the chance to go to the Angoulême Comic Festival again, and hope to be an exhibitor there one day!
