How were your illustrations used? :
Mural

How did you make this work:
I painted these murals in a private home in Southold, New York. My client wanted to be transported to another time and place. I used acrylic house paint, and scaffolding. I painted all stonework, wood, beams, texture - every square inch was covered in both rooms, ceiling included.

Biography:
Diana O'Brien worked in graphic design for 20 years, freelancing on the side as a muralist and illustrator for most of that time. For the past 2 years she has been building her own full-time illustration and mural business on Long Island, in New York. She is currently set to graduate in 2024 from the MFA program in Illustration at Fashion Institute of Technology.
