How did you make this work:
This image is a self-promotion illustration that explores the relationship between me and drawing. While growing up, drawing is always the most intimate way to express my feelings. Every time I draw, I feel all terrible emotions and minor ailments will disappear. Drawing is the way to keep me safe and sound. It puts me in a flow status and provides me with a peaceful shelter.

I am Weston Wei, an illustrator based in New York and originally from China. My visual practice focuses on communicating stories and emotions, the goal of my arts is to build an immediate and direct emotional connection with my audience. Influenced by surrealist art, fashion styling and pop culture, I love drawing figures with vivid colors and meticulous details.
