How did you make this work:
This project starts as my university project regarding social affairs. Due to coastal erosion and rising sea levels, indigenous people experiences the land loss and relocation. The challenges for indigenous people not only are moving to another place but also cutting off the connection to the environment passed on from countless generations.

Chiara Xie is a London-based illustrator and storyteller, her work explores the dream state combined with recognizable life elements. Through spatial design and surrealistic narratives, she hopes to define a new lifestyle, with the co-existence of Utopia and Dystopia.
