How did you make this work: This book is a pop-up project created as a 3D paper theatre. It pictures the story of nature waking up in the spring as a metaphor of the birth and growth of a child. The haiku-inspired text immerses the reader in a magical journey within the enchanted garden. The book invites the reader to contemplate the intricate paper-cut details of lively plants, insects and animals hiding out in the garden.

Biography:
Of Lithuanian origin, I came to Paris to study at the Estienne School after first receiving training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vilnius. In Paris, I discovered the world of pop-up books, which I was immediately drawn to. Since the publication of my first pop-up book Jardin Bleu (2017), I have published several more works in collaboration with Gallimard Jeunesse: Jungle, Neige and Voyage.
