Why did you make this work:
The project was commissioned by Ethelburga Community Garden, London, for their entrance mural which tells the story of the garden and its users and is welcoming to all.

How was the illustration used:
It was used for a mural

How did you make this work:
Starting with a pencil to paper, I drew a sketch that was inspired by the garden's variety of fruit and vegetables as well as figures representing the diversity of volunteers and those using the garden. Then I moved on to Adobe Photoshop to develop the design and finalised it with Adobe Illustrator.

Seabomna Choe is a multi-disciplinary artist from South Korea, working in illustration and animation. Her practice focuses on recording hidden historical narratives and unravelling them through her work. She has been pursuing her Master's degree at the Royal College of Art.
