Examination of personal experiences as the basis for graphic storytelling. Each image recalls a drab job I have held in the past, the relationships they foraged, and the grueling work which they demanded.
How was the illustration used: Illustrations were presented as a triptych, mounted on plywood with nails, and presented as narrative art objects in a group showing. They live on as digital editorial illustrations.
How did you make this work: Beginning with mind-maps and free-writing of past experiences, these images grew into pencil sketches and were ultimately finalized digitally with Adobe Fresco and Photoshop. Images were later printed and mounted for a group show.
