Why did you make this work:
Viva la vulva! On buttons, on bags, on shirts and on jackets. The female external genital is emblazoned everywhere at the moment. But unfortunately, this does not necessarily imply love for one's vulva. This illustration is a reflection about the shame still linked to it.

How was the illustration used:
Editorial illustration in an online magazine.

How did you make this work:
I usually start sketching with a pencil in my sketchbook to find ideas. Once an idea gets validated by the client, I color it digitally.

Biography:
Line Rime lives and works in Lucerne, where she studied Illustration Fiction. Since graduating from HSLU (2018), she has been working as a freelance illustrator. Her illustrations are mainly critical and deal with socio-political topics, such as feminism and equality. She is also part of a screen-printing collective and is active in the local feminist collective.
