Why did you make this work:
An illustration for an article at Refinery29, the same week that pubs, bars and clubs were due to open in the UK (April 2021), after months of strict lockdown measures. The article focused on de-stigmatising the social anxiety many people had developed after spending so long in isolation, and offering helpful tips for anxiety sufferers entering back into public social spaces.

How was the illustration used:
Refinery29 Website and Socials

How did you make this work:
The brief for this illustration was to portray social anxiety, ideally in a public setting included in the article (pubs, clubs, bars etc.). A colour palette was selected by Refinery29 and included in the brief. After initial sketches and colour revisions with the Art Directors, I developed this illustration using Procreate; finalising a cropped layout on Photoshop.
