Why did you make this work:
I was very much inspired by the charming neighborhood in uptown chandler. This project is a great opportunity for me to record this vibrant community and the beautiful sunset in Chandler.

How was the illustration used:
The design was print and wrapped on a utility box along Alma School Rd in Uptown Chandler. The photo is also used on social media and website to promote the project.

How did you make this work:
The utility wrapping art contains 5 sides of the box. I create 3 images: one main image for the front side, backside, and right side, one for topside, one for the backside. The design was printed on vinyl and installed by the fabricator.

Yuke Li is a New York-based visual artist, a storyteller. She uses visual language to express emotions and thoughts. Animals and the diversity of people and culture have been her most recent inspiration. Her goal is to inspire people with another possibility, to comfort sadness; to plant a hopeful seed in the mind.
