Spring of Wuhan

Book Covers

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
This illustration depicts my hometown, Wuhan, on the first day after the city's lockdown. The train will be filled with people who have been stranded in Wuhan and will symbolize the departure of Wuhan from the previous unhappy period. The title Spring illustrates that it is a time of hardship through the winter, but that spring will bring back the hope of life.
