I was asked to make a window design for the Patagonia store Innsbruck with the main idea to show wild spaces specific in the alps and to create an image that shows the main peaks in this area. I have tried to create an illustration that is free of human traces and highlights the environmental peculiarities around.

How did you make this work: I made a sketch as well as the final design with a detailed color scheme before and painted the actual window with acrylic markers.

Biography:
Melanie Gandyra is an illustrator based in Hamburg and Innsbruck with a focus on informative illustration and science illustration. She has already been able to prove her expertise with numerous clients such as Die Zeit, Freundin, Arte Magazine, Patagonia or Greenpeace. She completed her bachelor's and master’s degrees in illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg.
