Why did you make this work:
The campaign Stan Smith Forever is a process of creation and transformation, from the painting of a billboard to recycled tote bags. I realized this illustration to promote the new sustainable Stan Smith, and I painted it on a public billboard during a live performance. The artwork focus on sea pollution and shows this iconic shoe as something new and good for the environment: even fishes like it!

How was the illustration used:
The illustration was painted on a billboard in front of the KMSKA in Antwerp, and then transformed into tote bags. Videos and pictures of the live performance became an advertising for social medias.

How did you make this work:
The outline of the digital illustration has been printed on the billboard, in order to create already the sketch as a base. The artwork has been hand painted with water based colors during three days of live performance, together with the help of some assistants.
