Why did you make this work:
I designed this Cover illustration for The Milaneser, an imaginary magazine and a collective artistic project whose aim is to portray the city of Milan through the illustrations of many Italian artists, while also paying tribute to the New Yorker.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration is sold as a poster in different sizes on The Milaneser online shop.

How did you make this work:
The illustration has been sketched out on paper, re-drawn in Illustrator and then had textures added in Photoshop.

Daniele Simonelli is a full-time freelance Illustrator with 10-year experience creating work for editorial, advertising and design industries. Currently working remotely from Rome (Italy), he graduated from the European Institute of Design in 2011 and, after spending the first years of his career in different design studios in Rome, he moved to London in 2015, when he officially started his career
