Why did you make this work:
The poster is my recording and sharing of rat anatomy research in lab, which led to an infographic on fetal development in Rattus Norvegicus. A visual representation of rat embryonic development and its relationship to uterine anatomy in female rats.

How was the illustration used:
The infographic poster is designed to share anatomical information about the prenatal development of the rat fetus.

How did you make this work:
The visual creation process includes analysing and visualising the scientific data on prenatal CRL changes, organ development in rat. I studied the anatomy by dissecting rat. Information was collected through atlases, articles, and rat specimens from University and laboratory.

Judy Chen is a designer and illustrator from Hong Kong, studying scientific illustration in the Netherlands. She is passionated about translating scientific data into poetic visuals. She sees imagery as a powerful and effective medium for conveying complex stories.
