Tamarind literary magazine cover

Why did you make this work:
The brief from the client, for Tamarind magazines' 2nd issue, was to create something around multiple realities and seeing them all at once. I chose to use fish in fishbowls as a way to represent multiple realities. When you look into a fishbowl, you are seeing the fish's whole universe, but when the fish looks back, it sees only a fragment of yours.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration was used as a cover for Tamarind magazine which is a semi annual literary magazine. The magazine is sold worldwide in digital and print

How did you make this work:
The illustration was done in acrylic on BFK Rives paper mounted to board 35,5cmx50cm. touched up digitally
