Why did you make this work:
"Don't cry, tears will turn into pearls." The inspiration for this work comes from the one who are hurt by love. In ancient, pearls were believed to be the tears of mermaids and angels. To further their association with goldfish, generally considered to have only three seconds of memory, which represents the hope of regaining happiness in this image.

I use the hand-drawn method to draw sketches. Then complete all subsequent work in ps.

Biography:
Yunong Xie is a London/China based illustrator. She earned her master degree in London University of the Arts. Yunong’s inspiration for her work lies in her significant interest in mysterious creatures and subjects. She always exploring new tools, techniques and media approaches. In Early 2020, she has also received the New Talent (Student) Gold Metal from IJUNGLE Illustration Awards.
