Why did you make this work:
The illustration was done for an article about how some scientific medical methods can reduce the suicide rates in Lithuania. In the illustration I wanted to emphasise the empathy of a scientist towards a self destructive person.

The illustration was used in a spread of a magazine next to an article itself.

How did you make this work:
The illustration was done digitally using some analogue textures.

Ūla Šveikauskaitė is a freelance illustrator from Lithuania, currently living and working in Vienna, Austria, mostly working in an editorial illustration field. She completed her studies in 2017 from Vilnius Academy of Arts Printmaking department.
