Charlotte Leadley
The Great Indoors

Exploration

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
It was one of the illustrations for the final project of my degree - which was derailed by the pandemic. I had to adapt my project, and created this illustration about finding inspiration and adventure indoors while in lockdown. The adventurer in the illustration is making the most of things, climbing their own mountainous jungle terrain aka the living room. Imagination has no limits.

How was the illustration used:
An editorial illustration for a half page in an illustrated newspaper project called Manifest (my final degree project)

How did you make this work:
The final image was created using photoshop.
