Image Type: Single Image
Usage: One of five illustrations for an essay about the US election, by political editor Harald Stanghelle in Aftenposten's (Norway's biggest newspaper) Friday supplement, A-magasinet. Sending this is as a single image, because I find this to be the strongest illustration and that it stands well on its own.
Process: I recieved a short brief from the art director before sketching out some rough ideas. Then I talked to the political editor who wrote the text, and together we decided what to continue working on.
Materials: Adobe Photoshop and Wacom Intuos Pro
Formats: 20.3 x 26.8 cm
Brief Requirements: Visualize the anti-Washington movement.
Key Brief Ideas: The Washington monument is a well-known landmark for most people, therefore it was natural to work on an idea based on it.
