Keep in Touch

Design Product & Packaging

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
I made a set of postcards last March as part of my final uni project, which can be sent to loved ones as caring reminders of wellbeing habits. This one is about the importance of keeping in touch, and originally represented the human need for physical contact in our daily lives. It came to represent the even greater need to stay in touch digitally, as isolation has taken a toll on mental health.

How was the illustration used:
Part of a five piece risograph printed postcard set, intended to be sent to loved ones to remind them of self-care habits.

How did you make this work:
I made this work digitally in Photoshop, simulating the colours and texture of risograph. I consequently printed it in risograph for the final postcard set product (not included due to low quality camera image).
