Why did you make this work:
It's important to me to create bold characters especially girls and women. This illustration is an expression of women's power, passion, mental and physical strength. Sport is one of the field where these features come together.

How was the illustration used:
This illustration was made as a personal purpose to explore my illustrative style and try new techniques.

How did you make this work:
I created this illustration fully in Photoshop using Wacom Tablet.

Biography:
Agata Stachowiak is a Polish-based freelance illustrator graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Poznań where she studied graphic design. Her work is inspired by medieval art, nature, ordinary things and casual events. She is passionate about creating bold independent characters in bizarre and eccentric context. Currently she’s pursuing her career as an illustrator.
