These are such indescribably wild times right now that as a cartoonist, I really need to process the Corona issue to get it out of my head. Preferably that they also bring hope and smiles to other people.
How was the illustration used: Together with 15 other cartoonists from Hamburg (der Hamburger Strich/ KJM Verlag) we will publish our third cartoon book in April. Since our last cartoon book was published on the topic "Corona-Cartoons from Quarantine", our topic is now "the great freedom- life after Corona". For all of us, after all, these are near visions of the future, which should bring hope, laughter, but also reflection.
How did you make this work: I draw with a reed pen and color with Sumibrushes (all in Procreate).
