Why did you make this work:
In the summer of 2020, I visited Assateague Island on the Eastern shore of the United States. The variety of wildlife in the changing landscapes truly impressed and inspired me so I listed species I have found and created an illustration.Wildlife species included: Osprey, Common Bottlenose Dolphin, Sanderling, Black Vulture, Atlantic Ghost Crab, Laughing Gull, Ruddy Turnstone, Horse, Great Egret

Biography:
Book Karnjanakit is an illustrator/writer/comic artist originally from Bangkok, now living in Baltimore. Her frequently used media include watercolor, pencil color and digital.Currently she is a graduate student in the MFA Illustration Practice program at Maryland Institute College of Art. Every day she is also learning and unlearning about gender, sexuality, social justice and cultural differences. Her free time is often spent watching birds, exploring the city and eating yummy food.
