Amy Moss
From London, Heading South: A Zine

Un-commissioned | Professional

Why did you make this work:
I made this zine because I was spending a lot of time thinking on memories that feel golden to me and I wanted to make something that encapsulated that feeling. From London, Heading South documents the very end of a few hectic, stressful and incredibly hot days in London with a few friends, which is then followed by an exhausted trip to the coast and the relief of an evening of lush calm.

How was the illustration used:
The zine is to be read and enjoyed!

How did you make this work:
The work was drawn in pencil, relying on its simplicity and texture to convey both the busyness and calmness of the day. Environmentally friendly practices are very important to me, so the work is risograph printed at a local printing studio on 100% recycled paper.
