Why did you make this work:
I made this illustration for El Periodico for an article on the release of mobility restrictions and the economic reopening of the country, despite the pandemic and how this situation made specialists fear for a rebound in COVID cases.

How was the illustration used:
This illustration was used as the cover and head image of the principal Sunday article of the Guatemalan newspaper ElPeriódico.

How did you make this work:
I made this digital illustration using a minimalist layout, recognizable shapes, and bold colors to highlight the concept of opening to the outside and finding something scary peeking out the door, in this case: COVID-19.
