This series of illustration is based on Washington Irving's short story from his collection: The Sketchbook of Geoffrey Crayon, Gent. The gothic and mysterious vibe of the city inspired me. I made these tarot card size illustration with a modern interpretation.
How was the illustration used: This illustration was originally designed for a set of tarot cards.
How did you make this work: I used pen and ink for the line work, scanned them and coloured in photoshop.
