Why did you make this work:
This is a picture book about an introverted girl finding her place in the crowd and her way to communicate with the world, with the help of a spirit character Smoggie. Self-recognition and self-identification are not commonly talked about in the area where I grew up. Most of my peers didn’t know who they are or what they want. Some don’t even have an answer now. I wish the situation can improve.

How was the illustration used:
a children's book

How did you make this work:
I used watercolor, gouache, color pencil, oil pastel, and screen print to create different parts of the images, and later combined and refined them in photoshop.
