Artemis background is in theatre design, animation and film. She enjoys storytelling by merging these mediums together. Currently she is collaborating with musicians and soundscape artists to explore sound and music as a script for both live events and film. Her personal work focuses on bringing social change through creative community projects.

BRIEF: To provide a snapshot of ordinary emotions and amplify them within the setting of an extraordinary situation.
MATERIALS: Watercolour, ink and ballpoint pen.
RESEARCH: American superhero comic books.
PROCESS: Outline by pen, followed by use of watercolours.
RESISTANCES: My creative process is naturally fractured. I worked on several parts of the drawing at a time before they were individually completed.
INSIGHT: Although this was a self-initiated piece, I generally prefer working in collaboration with others.
DISTRACTIONS: Exploring my new surroundings.
NUMBERS: Five figures in zero gravity.
FINAL THOUGHTS: Feedback received has suggested that I was influenced by cubism but that was not the case, at least not intentionally.
