ProfessionalWhy did you make this work:
I usually dabble with ink in monotones with a splash of colour. An author contacted me to design a coverpage for her book. It has everyday stories of people living in India. India being the land of colours, I wanted to challenge myself, not only with medium but with subject. This is the initial iteration of that experiment.
How was the illustration used: This was one of mock-ups that I had sent to the author for the cover page of her book.
How did you make this work: I drew inspiration from walking down the streets of Bangalore, observing the monotonous routine life of the people. In that monotony i found inspiration. I have used Acylic on canvas sheet, along with archival-ink pens to draw thw finer details.
