Biography:
Jenny Lu is an illustrator living in San Francisco. Born and raised in Taiwan, she expects to earn her BFA from San Francisco's Academy of Art University in 2020. She is seeking to communicate her imagination and sense of humor through her artwork. She specializes in both children's and adult's book illustrations, editorial illustrations, and licensing art for both children's and adult's consumer products. The medium she likes to use includes watercolor, colored pencils, pen and ink, and oil wash. She also creates art in Photoshop and Illustrator. In between projects, she likes to hone her skills by painting and drawing from life. Classical figure drawing and painting skills have taught Jenny to use shape, values, and edge control in hopes of combining her fine art skills with her current illustrative style to achieve her goal: to make people smile! Please contact Jenny if you are interested in licensing her art or collaborating with your next project.
