Unseen

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
This is a self initiated project exploring people's behaviors, inner states, mood or hidden characteristics. People tend to conceal what is hapenning inside them because they either find it too delicate to reveal for various personal reasons or lack the precise words to describe what they feel. The project shows the unseen side of our everyday life.

How was the illustration used:
These ceramic sculptures could form part of any interior, an exhibition or a window display. The images of the sculptures can be used as an editorial illustration to a related topic, used in a poster or a book cover.

How did you make this work:
The series includes five ceramic sculptures made by hand. For the purpose of experiment I used different types of clay and underglazing materials (crayons, colour pigments, engobes) and glazes. The elements of the black wire were added after the final firing of the clay.
