Why did you make this work:
This illustration was created for a 2019 group exhibition celebrating Los Angeles curated by Gallery 1988. This piece is special to me as not only was it received incredibly well online, but it's what led to me being offered my very first solo exhibition that will be taking place in April 2020.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration was used in a gallery space in LA as part of a group exhibition. Having it be displayed in Los Angeles was very important to me as I feel like it's a great representation of that city, so to have it in a physical gallery in Hollywood fits the concept perfectly.

How did you make this work:
Digital, created entirely in Adobe Photoshop.

Biography:
I'm a twenty-three-year-old illustrator based in London, United Kingdom. During my second year of university, I got the chance to study abroad in California and ever since that trip my obsession with LA culture and Americana has been the main focus of my work. I now have a full-time job as a graphic designer and spend my spare time creating illustrations that celebrate the architectural gems of Los Angeles.
