Why did you make this work:
This personal piece was driven by my trip back to Taiwan, and being there reminded me of the food and drinks I had as a child. Food is extremely important for the Taiwanese people– whose identity are still relatively new and constantly changing. That being said, The snacks and drinks presented in this piece serve as a great common denominator that we share.

Biography:
David Huang is a Taiwanese American illustrator living and working in NYC, he graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2017, and his dream one day is to see his illustration in all forms and platforms.
