New TalentWhy did you make this work:
Drawing people I noticed has always been the subject of my sketch and creation. Until one day I found out the dreams which I had are more fascinating, uncanny and inspirational most of time, I began to immerse myself in them and keep recording them. The themes of my dreams are about “loneliness and absurdity", with sense of black humor, afford wild and romantic atmosphere.
How was the illustration used: These illustrations are personal portfolio pieces. Some images in my dreams are horror, absurd or related to death, they stimulate me to explore more wild visual stories.
How did you make this work: I enjoy using mixed media to create my art works. I used acrylic, collage, and color pencils. It is always excited for me to create different textures and composition of colors.

Currently Based:
I used to live in New York when I graduated from MICA. Now I live in Shanghai.
Biography:
Miga is an illustrator based in Shanghai.
She studied illustration and graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art in 2017.
