Rachel Denwood is the Publishing and Creative Director at HarperCollins Children’s Books. She publishes books for all ages from baby to Young Adult. Her passion is working with authors and illustrators to realise their vision and to make books that delight and entertain.
Rachel has been lucky enough to publish several award-winning and best-selling picture book creators including Judith Kerr, Oliver Jeffers and Emma Chichester Clark.
Rachel began her publishing career twelve years ago as Editorial Secretary at Macmillan Children's Books. She studied English Literature at the University of Sussex and lives in South London.
Rachel will be judging the Children's Books category.
