The illustration was for the op-ed feature for the South China Morning Post. The article criticized the bombing campaign in Syria, it argued that dialogue stops warfare, not bullets. The article asks, "is the answer to warfare and violence in the Middle East is supposed to be the importation of more war and violence?". I produced a simple, powerful image, to reflect the views of the author.
