I was commissioned to create illustrations for the theatre's upcoming Spring/Summer season. The productions ranged from classic (Shakespeare's 'King Lear') to contemporary (Katherine Chandler's '˜Bird') and covered a diverse collection of settings such as war torn London, a coal mining town of the early 1900s and a social club during the 1950s. The client needed me to create a striking set of visuals that would represent each unique backdrop/subject whilst also functioning as a cohesive set of illustrations.
