This was a commissioned work for Charlie Magazine in their bookzine november 2019 - for the article 'The Narcissist' about how to recognize a narcissist and the risks for our society. The article discusses the risks of male power with a narcissistic character. In my illustration the male figure hands out balloons with his own portrait.

Biography:
Flore Deman an Belgian illustrator. She's a freelance illustrator for 4 years and had a various amount of clients and publications: publications for Belgian newspaper De Morgen, she made etched illustrations for a coffee brand in New York (Saison), had publications in several Belgian & Dutch magazines (Nest, Charlie, De Standaard magazine). She's made campaigns for cultural events (festivals, poetry competition, night of the museum,...) Last month one of her illustrations got selected in the Illustration West 58 competition from the Society of illustrators Los Angeles.
