Why did you make this work:
Agadot Amitiyot (True Legends: 50 Women to Grow Up With in Israel) is a book for young readers, in Hebrew, inspired by Rebel Girls and anthologies of glass-ceiling breakers around the world. I was approached by 'Hameritza'- a design collective dedicated to gender equality (founded by Tal Maimon, Maureen Glimore, and Ella Moskowitz) To create one of the illustrations for the book.

How was the illustration used:
The illustration is a portrait of Israeli abstract painter Lea Nikel.

How did you make this work:
This work is hand drawn, mostly with pencil and acrylic, and was later scanned and edited in photoshop
