Why did you make this work:
I was inspired by his best-beloved poem, “Nostalgia” for this Google Doodle. I imagined how much he missed his Korean home while he was studying abroad. I wanted to draw the moment when he was writing this poem while missing his home at the time.

How was the illustration used:
To celebrate Jung Ji-young's 117th birthday, this illustration appeared on Korea Google's main home page so it let Koreans reminded him and get informed of his monumental works again.

How did you make this work:
I sketched many ideas with graphite and finished it in digital.
