Puck Koper
Where Is Your Sister?

Commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
I grew up in the city. And as a little girl, I loved to go shopping with my Gran, especially at big department stores. Riding the escalator and most of all trying on shoes! My love for department stores never went away. So, I wanted a make a book where I could lead the reader through the whole store. And what better way to do that, than to chase after a cheeky girl!

How was the illustration used:
In a picture book, published in March 2019 by Two Hoots, Macmillan

How did you make this work:
Alongside the storyline of the sisters, there is a lot to see and explore in this riot of dots, stripes, patterns and checks. The store is full of different characters, each with their own little story. And even a thief can be spotted amongst the shoppers! The illustrations in the book are printed in the most popping Pantone colours, to make this limited colour palette as vibrant as possible.
