Why did you make this work:
The Ad asked us a full page opening illustration and two smaller for the turn pages for the article “Wise guise. Has the #MeToo changed what we wear to work? By Bella Pollen published on The Economist 1843 Magazine, lifestyle and culture, February-March 2019 p.42 Style, UK.

How was the illustration used:
Magazine (print and internet)

How did you make this work:
The opening image focuses on abuse in the workplace. The second image for the turn pages focuses on the concept of the fusion of masculinity and femininity in a sartorial way, in fashion design. The third image represents the dangerous suit of career women. We were inspired by the sexy striped tailleurs of career women in the 80s.

Biography:
Anna and Elena Balbusso Twins are internationally recognized award winning italian artists team who work has been published by major international publishers and companies through out the world. The Norman Rockwell Museum US has included Balbusso Twins among the illustrators of The Decade 2010-present. They have illustrated over 40 books. Their work has gained over 70 international recognition including: the Victoria and Albert Museum Illustration Awards Best Book UK; three Gold Medals and the Stevan Dohanos Award of the Society of Illustrators New York; two Joseph Morgan Henninger Award and a Silver Award and of the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles.
