Why did you make this work:
“God of Seigfred Hall” is a set of large murals, designed for the School of Art+ Design named "Seigfred Hall" in Ohio university. This set of murals works as a way-finding system. This piece follows a fictional story created by the designer. In this story, Seigfred Hall is managed by a main god who has four children. Each child is assigned to manage each floor with the cooperation of its soldier.

How did you make this work:
This piece is inspired from the philosophy of the school which is making a bridge between traditional and modern art. The reason that this piece follows a mythical story is that myth has been always a point where traditional and modern art join each other.

Biography:
Maryam Khaleghi Yazdi is an Iranian Graphic Designer who loves exploring. In every work of art, she is seeking to explore and create a fresh and new aspect, and therefore she chose Graphic Design so with each new order, she can meet new experiences. is feature has led Maryam to take different roads in all areas of Graphic Design and Media; from Illustration to UI Design, from Poster to Packaging Design, and at last from Logo Design to Painting. Currently, Maryam is exploring her identity as a person who has migrated from Iran to the United States. Indeed, she is applying illustration as a vehicle to expose her state as a person who lives between two different cultures.
