Marc Lehmann
Me-Time-Postcards

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
The initial idea behind the Me-Time-Postcards was to create a series of postcards you can send to your future self from a time or a place of solitude. Take a moment of silence to reflect on what is going on in your life and remind yourself of what truly matters. The five motives stand for different ways of approaching time spent on your own – from feeling sad and bored to complete bliss.

How was the illustration used:
postcards

How did you make this work:
The original drawings were made using only a brush-pen and a piece of paper. I really enjoy working quickly to not overthink the process of creation – ink is the perfect medium for this because it always has an element of coincidence to it. The final postcards were given to friends and clients.
