Why did you make this work:
I was given the brief to illustrate a series of residential college students life at the University of Macau. The illustrations will be applied on event promotions, product making and their website.

How was the illustration used:
Posters, postcards, on website, and on university publication.

How did you make this work:
The mascot of the college is orange. So I tried to incorporate element of orange into the series of illustration. The illustrated scenes are: check in day, mid-autumn festival, regular lunch hour at the canteen, talent show competition, and reading group.

Biography:
Yang Sio Maan majored in English Literature in college, and went off to explore illustration afterwards. She graduated with an MA in Illustration from UCA Farnham, UK. Currently, she is based in Macau, working and learning to be a visual storyteller. Her family members include two cats, and she almost naps every day. A slow reader who daydreams a lot, Yang is also interested in growing little plants.
