The Opening

Un-commissioned | New Talent

Why did you make this work:
The world collage day is celebrated every 12th of May, and as a collage artist I wanted to remind myself about how important that day is. A quick spontaneous brief to describe what collage means to me personally. It has enabled me to discover a new door in every creative process with it.

How was the illustration used:
Printed image and postcards

How did you make this work:
Using mixed media, I wanted to be able to give a new feel to the founded images. My intention is to assemble those into something that looks new and fresh without losing the visual aesthetic from the original image pieces. I think the beauty of making collage images is having uncountable combination to play with. To be able to do multiple process in a short time is what I enjoyed doing.
