Why did you make this work:
The brief was to make an illustration about Bavaria and the grumpiness, that is said to be typical for the bavarian mentality. In my illustration I wanted to include many different details and situations which the viewer can discover one by one.

How did you make this work:
To meet the brief I included many well known persons, characters and events with cultural, traditional and even political background, that are familiar to “bavarian insiders” and which stand for the typical bavarian mentality. Of course, I interpreted them in my very own way, often with a funny or ironic touch. The word “Zefix”, by the way, is maybe the most typical bavarian swearword.
